The Ultimate Hawker Food Michelin Guide: Jian Bo Shui Kueh

Established since 1958, this Michelin-recommended hawker stall serves delectable traditional local breakfast dishes. Including chee cheong fun (rice noodle roll), yam cakes, and their signature shui kueh (steamed rice cakes, more commonly known as chwee kueh).

The minimum order is five pieces, $2.50 for five, $4 for eight, and $5 for ten. If you would like the ingredients packed separately, the minimum order is ten pieces. There is also an additional charge of 30 cents per order.

The freshly steamed rice cakes are incredibly soft and smooth in texture. Topped with fragrant chye poh (pickled radish) and its signature dried prawn chilli, it is a perfect combination. 100% vegetable oil is used instead of pork lard. Although the taste may not be as rich, it is definitely healthier.
